Of all the things that have changed over the last few centuries, and particularly the massive amount of change experienced during the last 100 years, the one constant that remains is for great dynamic leadership.
Whether it is for leading nations, organizations, teams or even in relationships effective and efficient leadership is sought by all.
Insufficient leadership ability is part of the problem. The shift in focus from development of the individual heroic leader, to the unfolding, emergent realization of leadership as a collective activity is intentional—and very, very important.
The Largest room in the world is the room for improvement.
As proper food nutrition is needed for the body to grow physically and mentally and nurturing is needed to care for and protect someone as they grow, Nutritive Nurturing Leadership requires a Leader to provide useful and necessary doses to their subordinates, colleagues, followers, etc which act as a performance - enhancing nutrient.
This nutritious dose could be an inspirational talk, praise in front of people, recognition of efforts or even a try (may be a failed one), reward, etc. As the leader goes on and helps people, encourages (nurture) them to grow and develop in their respective areas, the nutritious potion will make them a better performer. It will act as a Protein and Fat for them. In short, a leader is the Nutrients package for the people who make them grow and bestows nourishment.
Leadership in the business world is inevitable. Business seeking for the transformation and wishing it to work well should enhance the leadership features in the organization. Leaders must act as a Nutrient only then they can provide Nutrition to the people and to the organization.
A Leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
